The art of gardening evolved in Japan together with the architecture, and many amazing gardens were designed to blend in with modern, glass, steel and concrete buildings.

A great example of such a modern Japanese garden is the one built next to the Tokyo Big Sight. The pond has concrete shores with sharp angles, the bushes are geometrically cut, and all the garden's elements are greatly harmonized with the nearby striking structure...
