Momijigari, hunting the red leaves

Mon, October 31, 2016, by Muza-chan
There are two great events related to nature in Japan, the festival of cherry blossoms in the spring and, in the autumn, a celebration known as kōyō or momijigari, "hunting for the red leaves".

In Kyoto or in Tokyo, the peak period for momijigari takes place during mid November. It is a nice opportunity to take a stroll through a garden while admiring the autumn colors...
