Mount Fuji at dusk

For thousands of years, the Japanese people were fascinated by Fuji-san 「富士山」, by its perfect shape. The mountain is located at 100 km from Tokyo and in the old times, when there was little to no pollution, Mount Fuji was visible from many places in Edo, like in the Hiroshige's ukiyo-e series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji.

Today, it is rare to see Mount Fuji from Tokyo, and even then it's better to be in a high-rise building. As a traveler, I was lucky enough to be able to take a few pictures with Mount Fuji, from several places in Tokyo.
