Today, it is rare to see Mount Fuji from Tokyo, and even then it's better to be in a high-rise building. As a traveler, I was lucky enough to be able to take a few pictures with Mount Fuji, from several places in Tokyo.
Here's one I enjoyed a lot, taken on a summer's evening, exactly at dusk, from the Sunshine 60 observatory in Ikebukuro.
The triangular white building is the Sun Plaza hotel and concert hall from Nakano:
