Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Mount Takao, hydrangea and red lanterns

Wed, July 23, 2014, by Muza-chan
In many ways similar to Kyoto's Mount Kurama, the Mount Takao in Tokyo combines the nature's beauty with man-made scenery. It is said that there are over 1,300 species of plants here, so every season offers something to enjoy. During the summer, the hydrangea bushes are standing out, especially those grown on the sides of the trail, next to the hundreds of red lanterns.
