Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Nakatsu Castle main keep

Fri, April 13, 2018, by Muza-chan
The Hagi castle was destroyed at the beginning of the Meiji period, but it is still known how it used to look because of a photo taken before 1880.

The Hagi castle was never reconstructed, but the main keep of the Nakatsu castle in Oita was rebuilt after the image of the Hagi castle, because there were no images or plans left from the original Nakatsu castle.
