With 6 floors housing restaurants, coffee shops, karaoke venues and souvenirs shops, the building is the work of a well known Japanese designer, Yasumichi Morita. The small black silhouettes on the white pyramidal decorations are representing one of the symbols of Dotonbori, Kuidaore Taro, a life-size mechanical drum-playing clown (you can spot him in the photo, right at the entrance, wearing clothes with red and white stripes).
