National Treasures of Japan, Hikone Castle

Among the 12 Japanese castles that survived until today with the original main tower, only 4 were included in the List of National Treasures of Japan: Himeji, Matsumoto, Inuyama and Hikone. However, some of them are listed with several other buildings, such as yagura watch towers and galleries.
