Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Night stroll on Nakamise

Thu, July 13, 2017, by Muza-chan
An unusual but lovely moment to visit the spectacular but very crowded complex of Senso-ji is after nightfall. Although the shops on Nakamise are now closed and the place seems deserted, all the attractions of the temple and the surrounding area are brightly and spectacularly lit (you can search for my photos here: //muza-chan.net/search/?q=Senso-ji+night). This is how the Nakamise street looks around 10PM, the place remaining lit up staying until 11PM.
