Nisshin-kan, Aizu samurai school

Sun, December 16, 2018, by Muza-chan
One of the largest and most renowned samurai schools in the Edo period was the one belonging to the Aizu domain. The building was destroyed during the Boshin War, but was completely rebuilt by using its original design, and today it is the only samurai school existing in its complete, original form.
