Photographed here is an artistic manhole cover from Odawara, "advertising" the most important local festival, Odawara Hojo Godai, which takes place on May 3rd on the streets around the Odawara castle.

The manhole cover design also coveys an interesting bit of information, the fact that Mount Fuji (drawn discreetly in the upper right) is visible from here....
