Old and New at Tokyo Station

Usually, I like my photos to be simple and to the point, capturing the viewer's attention to a panorama, to a specific detail or to an element with a particular story. Complex photos, with multiple components, are not in my usual style.

However, today I'll make an exception, with a picture I enjoyed especially because, while it is quite crowded and noisy, it also focuses on several interesting aspects. Taken inside the Tokyo Station, you can see the roof of one of the recently renovated old station domes and, in the background, the newly built skyscrapers near the Maronouchi Station... old and new...
