Old and New Architecture in Tokyo, the new Ginza Kabuki theater

After 3 years of reconstruction works, the famous Kabuki-za theater in Ginza, Tokyo, was reopened last year, in April. If you already saw the old building, you will easily recognize the new one, because the facade looks the same... only the 29-floor skyscraper in the back indicates the large scale transformation that took place here.

By night, the skyscraper fades discreetly into the background, almost highlighting the old-style facade...
