Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

The oldest bus in Japan

Fri, November 15, 2013, by Muza-chan
The first motorized bus line in the world appeared in Germany, in 1895... but in Japan the bus appeared much later, in 1930. Owned by the Japanese Government Railways, the first bus line in Japan operated in the Aichi Prefecture (Nagoya) and the very first bus, built by the Tokyo Gas and Electric Industrial Co (the today's Isuzu Motors), was preserved and can be admired at the SCMaglev and Railway Park in Nagoya.
