Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Osaka Station City

Thu, September 14, 2017, by Muza-chan
The fifth version of the Osaka Station, finished in 2011, was re-branded as Osaka Station City, a complex that includes besides the train station a hotel, shops, restaurants, a cinema, a sports center and roof top gardens.

The railways are placed between the two (North and South) buildings, under a glass roof. At the 5th floor there's a spectacular connecting passage named Toki-no-hiroba Plaza because of two large clocks, one golden (in the middle of the photo) and one silver. The Plaza architecture was made by Mitooka Eiji, the same artist who designed the elegant Sakura Shinkansen.
