The Owl Police Box

I wrote before about kōban, the typical Japanese police stations and their sometimes unusual architecture. Some of them are just unusual, others are made to match the surrounding architecture, while a few of them are just... cute!

After the "owl" kōban from Ikebukuro, here's a better owl representation discovered these days in Chiba, nearby Chiba JR Station. I simply have no other word for this building than... cute. The large pillars surrounding it are the rails of the Chiba Urban Monorail, the world longest suspended monorail system:
