One of the best experiences you can have in Japan is to visit a Zen Temple. There are many of them and each one has its own beauty, so it is hard to make specific recommendations... For the today's photo, I selected Tenryu-ji, located in Arashiyama, Kyoto, one of the friendliest among the Zen temples I visited because besides the engawa (the veranda facing the garden), here you can also enjoy the atmosphere inside the hall, where you can stay to your heart content, enjoying the beauty of the place...
