Pleasure boats and cherry blossoms

There are many ways to admire the cherry blossoms and I love to try them all... It's a great feeling to walk under the blooming sakura trees and it is also very enjoyable to do a hanami party, savoring sake and a bento under the sakura flowers...

But if you are looking for a new way to enjoy the beauty and magic of the cherry blossoms, I can recommend you to try one of the boat cruises departing nearby the entrance of the Heian-jingu in Kyoto. They are cruising on the Okazaki Canal, which, as you can see from my photo, is wonderfully lined by sakura trees...
