Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Sakata Honma garden

Fri, December 21, 2018, by Muza-chan
The Honma family was the richest family in Sakata (Yamagata Prefecture) and the garden built by them 200 years ago is a beautiful collection of scenes made with narrow alleys, stone lanterns, beautiful trees and plants put together to look spectacular any time of the year.
Here's a photo taken in November, during the autumn foliage season.
