Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Samurai armors at Uwajima Castle

Thu, May 19, 2016, by Muza-chan
If you like samurai armors, the Japanese castles are among the best places to see them up-close. Whether original or reproductions, like these three armors displayed inside the Uwajima castle, they are vibrant images of a past world.

Here are three famous armors, all related to the Uwajima castle: the one on the left belonged to Toyotomi Hideyoshi, because the castle has a history related to the Toyotomi clan. The armor in the middle belongs to the Date clan and on the right is the armor of the famous Date Masamune, the ancestor of the last lord to own the castle.
