Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Seagull and Yakatabune at Yanagibashi

Wed, January 12, 2011, by Muza-chan
I'm a city explorer, so I rarely have the occasion to photograph birds or wildlife. But when an opportunity arises, I don't miss it.
This seagull simply sat in front of me while I was photographing a group of yakatabune (old-style Japanese houseboats), parked nearby the Yanagibashi bridge.

I dedicate this photo to my good friend RyukyuMike, an enthusiast wildlife photographer.
