Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Serenity moment at Raikyu-ji

Fri, June 2, 2017, by Muza-chan
The Japanese rock gardens (karesansui) were created especially for meditation. Of course, with thousands of tourists visiting, it is a bit hard to think of meditation when you visit the popular gardens.

However, in the less touristy places, I had more than once the opportunity to catch a moment of silence. I took this unusual picture at Raikyu-ji, in Takahashi, Okayama, in a moment of serenity when the only sound heard was the click of my camera.
