Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Shimabara castle wide angle view

Sun, January 27, 2019, by Muza-chan
Reconstructed on its original position, where the surrounding stone walls and the moat were still in place, the Shimabara castle includes the tenshu (main tower) and several yagura (turrets). Seen from a distance, the castle offers an impressive view, with its 5-story tenshu, imposing walls and deep moats.
