Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Simply beautiful Japanese scenes, Senso-ji sunset illumination

Mon, June 16, 2014, by Muza-chan
Over the years, I took hundreds of photos at Senso-ji, because, besides Akihabara, this is the only place I never fail to visit whenever I'm in Japan. I visited Senso-ji on every season, during crowded festivals and during quiet, non-tourist times, and I was always enthralled by the unique beauty of the place.

Here is the Hozomon Gate, photographed in springtime, during the golden hour, when the temple's illuminations are lit, but the setting sun lights up the sky with a soft light... Simply beautiful, isn't it?
