Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Simply beautiful Japanese scenes, traditional street in Higashiyama, Kyoto

Thu, September 4, 2014, by Muza-chan
The most-visited streets of Higashiyama, Kyoto, are those leading to Kiyomizu-dera, the Ninenzaka and the Sannenzaka, charming streets, filled with traditional shops and restaurants.

However, Higashiyama offers many more gems: around the Yasaka Pagoda you can find several traditional streets, narrow and sloped, lined by old, wooden houses. Simply beautiful!
