Start of winter illuminations in Japan

The winter holidays lighting starts early in Japan, in some places as soon as mid-November. Some of these light shows are available only until Christmas, while others are kept on long after the New Year.

For this year I planned to make a trip longer than usual and I took into consideration many places with spectacular winter illuminations. And, of course, I will take lots of night time photos... But until then, here's one of my favorite venues, the Shinjuku Terrace City from Tokyo, which every winter until the Valentine's Day features beautiful illumination displays...
