Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Street scene in Higashiyama, Kyoto

Wed, May 10, 2017, by Muza-chan
The Higashiyama district is one of the most frequented tourist sites in all of Japan, being extremely popular both with tourists and foreigners. One of the local attractions is the rental of traditional Japanese clothing.

You will find here many people strolling through the streets of old Kyoto dressed in yukata and kimono. Some of them are traditionally dressed locals, but others are tourists who rented the attire. And I love that the already pleasant feeling of area is further enhanced by the look of all these beautifully dressed people...
