Tenno-ji Daibutsu on a rainy day

Erected 329 years ago, the Tenno-ji Great Buddha (Daibutsu in Japanese) in Yanaka, Tokyo, was famous during the Edo and Meiji periods. Today it is less know, but it remains one of the most important such sculptures in Tokyo.
