Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Tensha-en, Edo period lord garden

Sun, May 27, 2018, by Muza-chan
Built at the end of the Edo Period for the seventh feudal lord of the Uwajima domain, Date Munetada, the Tensha-en garden in Uwajima is representative for a feudal lord's garden. An interesting fact is that the garden was built on an area which was obtained through land reclamation more than 150 years before.

Tensha-en garden, Uwajima, Ehime
