The Shinto Shrine of Tokyo Tower

Shinto shrines are ubiquitous in Japan, from the large complexes comprising many structures to small shrines erected on the side of the road, or filling small gaps between buildings. There are also shrines located inside larger buildings, for example inside skyscrapers.

Photographed here is the shrine located on the second floor of the Main Observatory of Tokyo Tower. At a height of 150 meters, this is said to be the shrine at the highest altitude in Tokyo, and it is recommended for prayers for love and school exams...
