Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

The story of the Glico Man sign

Sun, June 10, 2018, by Muza-chan
Glico Man, the marathon runner with hands raised in sign of victory, appeared for the first time 97 years ago, on the Glico Caramel package, the first product of Glico.

The first neon sign in Dotonbori featuring the Glico Man appeared 14 years later and soon became a landmark of the area. The one we see today is the 6th, made of cu LED screen, installed 4 years ago.
