Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

The youkai of Fukusaki, Yuki-onna bench

Wed, April 10, 2019, by Muza-chan
There are many old urban legends in Japan about Yuki-onna, a mysterious woman with long hair and purple eyes, looking like this one sitting on one of the youkai benches of Fukusaki, in the Hyogo Prefecture.

The legends say that many people met her while traveling through snow covered places, becoming her victims. But other legends are saying that Yuki-onna fell in love with a man who saved her, and even married him...
