Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Tokyo Christmas Illuminations, Galaxy Dome plus a travel tip

Tue, December 20, 2011, by Muza-chan
Here's a new photo from the Tokyo Christmas Illuminations series, taken at Tokyo Dome City. This is the Galaxy Dome, a hemispheric pavilion measuring 10 meters in height and 12 meters in diameter, decorated with light models made with bright LEDs. The theme is "Galaxy Fantasia" (similar to other Tokyo Dome City illuminations) and the atmosphere it creates is surreal...

Travel tip: Like the rest of the Tokoy Dome City attractions, the Galaxy Dome lights are lit until February 14 - the Valentine's Day - between 5PM and 11PM.
But here you can also enjoy something special: at 6PM, 7PM and 9PM, a light and music show takes place, accompanied by Puffy's RGW song.
