Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Tokyo Monorail

Mon, July 2, 2018, by Muza-chan
If you used the Tokyo Monorail, the railway running between the Haneda Airport and the Minato district of Tokyo, you may have noticed that it was built mostly over water or very close to the shore, like in this photo taken in Shibaura. The reason was to reduce the building costs, by avoiding the necessity to acquire private land.
