Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Tokyo Monorail

Mon, August 20, 2018, by Muza-chan
Opened for the 1964 Summer Olympics, the Tokyo Monorail originally had only 2 stations, operating as a direct service between Haneda and Hamamatsuchō. Today there are 11 stations and it is planned to extend its route to Shimbashi, and even to Tokyo Station.

Owned by the Tokyo Monorail Co. Ltd, a company primary owned by the JR East, the Monorail has the cost of the trip included in the JR Pass, so it is convenient for the foreign visitors arriving or departing from the Haneda Airport.
