Tokyo Winter Illuminations, the Daiba Memorial Tree

Besides the winter Odaiba illumination, if you visit Odaiba this year you can also admire the 39th edition of the "Daiba Memorial Tree", an impressive 220,000 light balls illumination adorning living trees, covering a 200 meters long area.

The central piece is a 20 meters tall Christmas tree, illuminated in 7 colors, varying with the surrounding music from light yellow, orange, pink and red to purple, blue and green. Regardless of the time of the year, Odaiba is one of the must visit places in Tokyo, but during the Christmas period it has a special charm...
