Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Topokki Restaurant Mascot

Sun, October 3, 2010, by Muza-chan
Most of the mascots seen in Japan are designed to be cute/kawaii. Some really are, but some are a little harder to describe...
This mascot of a restaurant from Yokohama Chinatown, even if it isn't very cute, has a face expression that... I don't know why, but I think it attracts customers...

The restaurant is specialized in topokki (or tteokbokki), a popular Korean snack food.
