Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Ueno colors - Hot summer night

Fri, April 27, 2012, by Muza-chan
While going through some summer photos, I stumbled over this night view of the Ueno elevated pedestrian walkway, taken on a hot summer night... What stroke me was that, probably due to its colors, when I looked at it, it made me remember exactly the overwhelming wet heat I was feeling that night!

With those orange lights and that well known urban sculpture colored in red and purple, I think this image is a good representation of the heat you can feel in Japan during summer, an atmosphere like in a sauna...
Still, I'm looking forward to the summer days...
