Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Visiting Kyoto, the Kodaiji garden

Mon, August 4, 2014, by Muza-chan
The Japanese gardens are designed to be always beautiful, with stone lanterns that look great covered by snow, azalea, irises and sakura cherry trees for the spring, ponds with lotuses for the summer and momiji maple trees for the fall. There's a perfect time to visit the garden in every season, according to anyone's preference...

For me, the Kodaiji garden in Hihashiyama, Kyoto, looked perfect in August, when the red-flowered crape myrtle blooms, bringing more charm and joy into the whole garden.
