Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Want to dress up like a Geisha?

Fri, April 11, 2014, by Muza-chan
While visiting Kyoto, especially in Gion and Higashiyama, there are chances that you will meet a geisha (or, more probably, a maiko). But not anyone wearing their costume is genuine... Because if you want, in Kyoto you can professionally dress up like them! This is probably one of the most interesting travel attractions of Kyoto: for a reasonable price, you can experiment the clothes and the hair style of a maiko... Tempted?

I haven't tried yet the maiko dressing, but I did tried the heavy armor of a medieval samurai - see the photo on my Google+ or Facebook profile... (^_^)
