Popular Japanese food, Yakisoba

Among the most popular foods during the Japanese festivals is yakisoba: stir-fried soba noodles, seasoned with soy based sauce, vegetables (cabbage, onion, carrots) and thin pieces of pork.

The recipe varies, and the yakisoba can be flavored with nori, ginger or sesame seeds, like the ones photographed here. It’s delicious, and I’m eating it whenever I have the chance…
