Shiba Daijingu at Dawn

Sat, October 23, 2010, by Muza-chan

The Shiba Daijingu Shrine, located nearby Hamamatsucho Station, is one of the oldest shrines in Tokyo, established exactly 1005 years ago.

I visited this shrine at dawn, when the lantern lights and the shine of the golden ornaments were creating a warm atmosphere. And it wasn’t just the feeling, although it was late, the people were welcoming… I bought an omamori and I received also a tasty “shrine candy".
