Takaosan Shitenno-mon Gate

The Yakuoin Temple from the Takao Mountain was established in 744 by Gyoki Bosatsu and was dedicated to Yakushi Nyorai, the Buddha of Medicine and Healing. It is amazing how many old dates were recorded with precision in old stories or legends…
