Japanese traditional architecture, Nagare-zukuri

There are two main religions practiced in Japan, Shinto and Buddhism, and from an architectural point of view, they have several specific traits. One is the presence of the Japanese specific torii gate, which, with very few exceptions, marks the presence of a Shinto shrine.
