Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Kurashiki night-time empty street

Mon, January 23, 2017, by Muza-chan
During the last years, the Kurashiki city and especially its Bikan historical area, became a very strong tourist attraction. By day the place is filled with life, crowded with rickshaws and tourists, with boats on the channel, and the streets lined by many beautiful and attractive stores, restaurants and coffee houses.

However, after nightfall everything disappears. The stores and the restaurants are closed, the lights are dimmed, and rarely someone passes hurriedly. If you enjoy exploring a traditional town in perfect tranquility, it is worth a night-time visit... However, I would have liked to see it more animated and better lit...
