One of the most famous Japanese sail ships, Nippon Maru, traveled for 54 years a distance equal to 45 times the circumference of the earth and more than 11 thousand cadets were trained on it.

Today, the ship rests in Yokohama, right next to the Yokohama Landmark Tower, being one of the landmarks of the Minato Mirai 21 area. It's a very beautiful ship, opened to the public and it is best admired by night, when it is perfectly illuminated...
