One of the most spectacular skyscrapers from Shinjuku, Tokyo, the Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower houses three schools: Tokyo Mode Gakuen (fashion school), HAL Tokyo (IT school) and Shuto Iko (medical care school). So, even if it is just the 17th tallest from Tokyo, with its height of only 204 meters the tower manages to rank as the second-tallest educational building in the world.
This top is still led by the Moscow State University, which was built in 1953 with a height of 240 meters. But interestingly, on the third place we find another Japanese skyscraper, the related Mode Gakuen Spiral Towers from Nagoya.
