Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Shibuya glass buildings aerial view

Tue, November 6, 2012, by Muza-chan
As you know, every time I visit a city I first search for tall observatories... But before climbing to the observatory I like to study a bit, to learn about the area's important buildings, because once I'm up there I like to play and search for these buildings. That's what I've done in the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower: looking towards Shibuya, I searched for and found its two representative glass buildings.

Here's how you can identify them in this photo: first you can easily identify the Yoyogi National Gymnasium Main Arena (the large building with the curved roof). Right in front of it, you will see the blue glass rhomboidal building, Audi Forum Tokyo, known as "the Iceberg". Following the same line, right in the forefront of the photo you will find the second spectacular glass building from Shibuya, the pyramid-shaped Prada Boutique Aoyama.
