Tue, April 23, 2019, by Muza-chan
The "Mount Kurama Cable Railway" (Kurama-yama Kōsaku Tetsudō), connecting the Kurama train station in Kyoto with the Kurama-dera temple is the only railway line operated by a religious institution, and with a length of only 200 meters it is the shortest railway line in Japan. And with a fare of just 100 yen, it is also one of the cheapest lines in Japan.
