Muza-chan's Gate to Japan

Takarabune, the ship of the 7 Lucky Gods

Sun, December 30, 2018, by Muza-chan
An old Japanese tradition says that in the night of the New Year, the Seven Gods of Luck - Shichi Fukujin - are traveling in their ship called Takarabune (meaning "treasure ship") bringing gifts to people who believe in them. Not necessarily material gifts, but intangible things such as happiness, knowledge or success.
