Kansai International Airport

Thu, October 12, 2017

Built on an artificial island, inside a zone with frequent earthquakes and typhoons, the Kansai International Airport in Osaka was listed by the American Society of Civil Engineers on a top 10 “civil engineering achievements that had the greatest positive impact on life in the 20th century” at the category Airport design and development.

In the photo you can see the interior of the Terminal 1, designed with large spaces and pastel colors, pleasant and relaxing for the travelers.
